About the firm
Meet the attorneys
Updated August 18, 2026
Barton Creek Ellery has six attorneys: three partners and three associates, two in each of our practice areas. All six are licensed to practice law in Texas. Every matter has a responsible attorney, and the attorneys in each practice area work closely together, so someone who knows your file is always available.
Catherine Ellery, Managing Partner
Practice: Estate planning and probate · Licensed in Texas: 2003 · J.D.: University of Texas School of Law
Catherine co-founded Barton Creek Ellery in 2012 and leads our estate-planning and probate practice. Before starting the firm, she spent nine years in the trusts and estates group of a large Dallas law firm. Her work centers on wills and revocable living trusts for families, including blended families and parents of young children, and on guiding executors through independent administration. As managing partner, she is also the person to contact if you have a concern about how your matter is being handled. She regularly volunteers at free community clinics that help older Texans prepare powers of attorney and medical directives.
Marcus Delgado, Partner
Practice: Business formation and contracts · Licensed in Texas: 2007 · J.D.: SMU Dedman School of Law
Marcus co-founded the firm and leads our business practice. Before law school, he managed operations for his family's restaurant group, and after five years at an Austin business law firm, he still approaches legal questions the way an owner does: what does this cost, what could go wrong, and what do we need on paper? He forms LLCs and corporations, drafts company agreements for businesses with several owners, and handles contract negotiations. Marcus is fluent in Spanish and meets with clients in English or Spanish.
Priya Raman, Partner
Practice: Residential real estate · Licensed in Texas: 2009 · J.D.: Baylor Law School
Priya joined Barton Creek Ellery as a partner in 2015 and leads our residential real-estate practice. She previously served as in-house counsel for a Central Texas title agency, where she reviewed thousands of title commitments and cleared title problems ahead of closing day. She represents buyers and sellers, reviews Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) contracts and addenda, and works through title and survey issues with title companies and lenders. Many of her clients are first-time buyers or owners selling without an agent.
Hannah Okafor, Associate
Practice: Estate planning and probate · Licensed in Texas: 2018 · J.D.: University of Houston Law Center
Hannah joined the firm in 2021 after three years as a briefing attorney for a Texas statutory probate court, where she saw firsthand how a well-drafted plan makes probate simpler for a family. She prepares wills, Essentials packages, and trust packages, leads many of our in-office signing meetings, and handles muniment of title and small estate matters. She has a particular interest in planning for digital assets such as online accounts, photos, and cryptocurrency.
Daniel Sato, Associate
Practice: Business formation and trademarks · Licensed in Texas: 2020 · J.D.: Texas A&M University School of Law
Daniel joined Barton Creek Ellery in 2020, straight from law school. He worked as a software developer before becoming a lawyer and enjoys helping small software, food, and consumer brands get organized. He handles LLC formations, registered agent service, Tier 1 and Tier 2 contract reviews, and trademark clearance searches and federal applications.
Laura Brennan, Associate
Practice: Residential real estate · Licensed in Texas: 2019 · J.D.: St. Mary's University School of Law
Laura joined the firm in 2022 after practicing residential real estate in San Antonio. She reviews title commitments and surveys, prepares title objection letters and deeds, and coordinates with title companies and lenders during closing week. She attends closings throughout Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties.
Our team and how to reach us
Our attorneys are supported by three paralegals, an intake coordinator who handles new inquiries and conflict checks, and a billing manager. New clients should start by calling (512) 555-0142 or emailing intake@bartoncreekellery.com. Existing clients can contact their responsible attorney or paralegal directly through the client portal or by email.
For everyone's privacy and safety, we never share attorneys' or staff members' personal phone numbers or home addresses. Every member of our team can be reached through the office.
